| Flying - Obviously the quickest and easiest way to travel to the Alps. Easyjet and Ryanair are still the most popular airlines flying to Geneva,Lyon and Grenoble from the U.K with B.A and many other airlines all offering low cost deals. Many like the freedom of having a car whilst on holiday but do not like the long drive. It is possible to hire a car/minibus at the airport and this is often the most economical and efficient method of travel to the resort. Both Lyon and Geneva are approximately 2 hours by road from Méribel and we can arrange transfers if required. Self drive - We often choose to drive. Although the distance of approximately 550 miles from Calais may seem a little daunting it is motorway almost the whole way and French motorways are swift and blissfully uncrowded. Train - It is possible to travel by train using the Eurostar and T.G.V all the way from London to Moutier (approximately 15 kilometres from Méribel)
